Therapeutic Services

In her role as a child and family therapist, Dr Campbell adapts her therapeutic approach to best suit the individual needs of the particular child and parents/adults involved.

Play Therapy

Dr Campbell uses play therapy as a counselling approach in treating children. This approach uses games, toys, art mediums such as clay, drawings and paint  to assist the child to express his/her emotions, thoughts, wishes and needs. Play therapy helps children to understand mixed-up emotions and traumatic events. Through play, children communicate at their own level and at their own pace, without feeling interrogated or threatened.
